Welcome to the Vista Palomar Riders!

Vista Palomar Riders, started in the mid 1940’s, is one of the oldest organized horse club in California. The club’s rich history began with 5-day rides from Vista to Palomar Mountain, when there were still wide open spaces in San Diego County.

VPR has always been dedicated to promoting and protecting the equestrian lifestyle. Today's members are identical to those original founders - they cherish their relationship with horses.

VPR embraces all forms of riding - English, Western, Show, Trail, Horse Camping on site and off site. Whether you are a beginner or advanced rider VPR has something for you. The 14-acre property has an impressive show facility, a modern clubhouse, turn out arenas, pipe stalls, plenty of parking for day use and direct access to the San Luis Rey riverbed trails.
